This 1,187-square-foot, three-bedroom residence in Pano Harbour, Kai Tak, boasts a private elevator for enhanced privacy and exclusivity. Designed with refined opulence in mind, the interior design harmonizes with the building’s original finishes, featuring a sophisticated palette of marble and metallic accents. Tailored for a family of three, the layout and material choices celebrate both practicality and prestige—framing Victoria Harbour’s firework displays as part of everyday living, and elevating the overall sense of grandeur.
Sliding Partition for Dual-Zone Living – Thoughtful Layout Enhances Privacy and Flow
The unit’s multiple access points—including a main and service entrance—presented a unique opportunity for functional zoning. inT Design to optimize flow and privacy, a sliding door was added between the kitchen and the helper's room, allowing the home to be divided into two distinct zones: one side for the guest bathroom, guest bedroom, kitchen, and service access; and the other for the owner’s primary living space. The transition area just beyond the entrance was cleverly designed with integrated bench seating, storage cabinets, and open shelving—offering a practical landing spot for guests before entering the private areas. This layout not only enhances order and usability but also supports a lifestyle with clearly defined public and private realms.

Refined Marble and Gilded Accents – A Sophisticated Statement of Luxury
Natural marble finishes were chosen for the dining area and TV cabinet, setting a luxurious yet understated tone. Gold accents are tastefully introduced across the ceiling trim, sliding door frames, pendant lighting, and corridor entrance, exuding elegance through subtle details. The walls are finished with textured yet neutral wall coverings, allowing the organic marble veining to stand out beautifully. Fluid interior design linework in the wall art, brushed with delicate touches of gold, enriches the space with movement and sophistication, striking a fine balance between grandeur and restraint.
A Grown-Up Retreat – Thoughtful Design for a Maturing Son
Acknowledging the son’s growing age, the designer opted for a platform bed instead of a typical loft-style bunk bed, crafting a more refined and mature ambience. The room embraces a clean and streamlined aesthetic, incorporating practical storage and layout flexibility to adapt to future changes. This thoughtful approach ensures the space evolves naturally with the user’s needs while remaining comfortable and age-appropriate.
Layout Reimagined – A Spacious and Elegant Master Suite
To enhance spatial comfort, the designer shifted the master bedroom door forward and relocated the bathroom entrance, allowing for a significantly larger walk-in closet and smoother circulation. An armchair was thoughtfully placed to elevate the room’s sense of luxury and create a serene lounge area. Visually, the interior design space is anchored by a marble feature wall at the foot of the bed and a matching cabinet back, paired with gold-trimmed wall details and a statement chandelier – all resonating with the refined, sophisticated theme of the home.
