Minimal Elegance Infused with Global Aesthetics
Located in Celestial Heights, Ho Man Tin, this 1,137-sqft three-bedroom unit adopts a minimal yet stylish approach to interior design. With the homeowner’s experience of living abroad, the layout embraces international influences – from open-plan living spaces to cabinetry that balances both storage and display functions. Subtle yet sophisticated lighting fixtures also play a key role in enhancing the ambiance, creating a home that feels modern, livable, and rich in personal character.
Stained Glass-Inspired Partition Creates Openness and Character
To enhance both functionality and spatial openness, the former maid’s room was transformed into a practical storage area. inT Design's designer further elevated the entry experience by replacing the solid partition at the foyer with a glass screen. Drawing inspiration from the stained glass windows of European cathedrals, this feature introduces filtered light while maintaining privacy. It creates a welcoming and artistic entry point that immediately reflects the home’s refined design language and sets the tone for the rest of the interior.

Zoned Flooring Brings Clarity and Contrast
To define zones and enhance spatial clarity, the designer uses contrasting flooring materials—terrazzo tiles at the entrance and herringbone wood flooring in the living room. The terrazzo reflects a more structured, textured feel that complements the stained-glass-inspired partition, while the warm-toned herringbone wood adds softness and flow to the main living area. This subtle yet effective material transition gives the home a refined, layered interior design feel while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic.
Textured Neutrals and Artistic Accents Define the Space
To avoid flatness in a neutral-toned palette, the designer introduces depth and texture through detailed treatments. A misty mountain-and-sea-themed mural—created using framed wall paneling—adds poetic character between the dining and sofa areas. The TV wall stays predominantly white but is elevated with mirrored steel trims and marble finishes for a touch of refined luxury. A stepped ceiling design adds dimensionality without overwhelming the space. In the dining area, a sculptural pendant light and curated wall art infuse the space with an artistic spirit reminiscent of sophisticated European interiors.
Zoned Layout for Distinctive, Delicate Study and Rest Areas
The bedrooms are thoughtfully zoned on opposite ends of the home, with the daughter’s room and study separated to distinctly define areas for rest and focus. In the daughter’s room, a dedicated vanity is integrated—designed for exclusive use without overlapping functions—emphasizing personal space. The bedhead wall features the same mural design as the living room, establishing a cohesive and graceful visual narrative. In both rooms, attention to detail shines through in the lower sections of the custom cabinetry, which are finished with fluted paneling to enhance texture and reinforce the project’s elegant interior design consistency.
Master Bedroom with Open Walk-in Closet and Elegant Seating Area
The master bedroom features an open walk-in closet that ensures a seamless and airy storage solution. A spacious king-size bed is positioned by the window, with a coffee table and armchair placed at the foot of the bed to create a cozy seating nook. The wall in front of the bed is accented with framed paneling and a sophisticated mural, adding depth and texture to the space. Sculptural wall sconces on both sides of the bedhead exude a unique sense of luxury, enhancing the room’s refined and elegant atmosphere.
