Timeless Elegance with Subtle Luxury
Located in the prestigious residential area of Ho Man Tin, surrounded by elite schools, this 1,228-square-foot unit in Grand Homm offers a serene retreat in the heart of the city. With no strict stylistic demands from the homeowner—only a desire for timeless appeal and a design that resonates with the estate’s refined atmosphere—inT Design's design team embraced a “subtle luxury” approach. Carefully chosen materials, a muted palette, and elegant detailing come together to shape a calm yet characterful living environment.
A Graceful Entrance Framed with Artful Intention
Instead of placing a shoe cabinet directly opposite the entrance, the foyer is framed with a slender console table and an art piece above it—establishing an elegant visual statement upon arrival. This thoughtful layout creates a sense of openness and calm, infusing the entry with a quiet sense of ceremony while subtly setting the tone for the refined home beyond.
Subtle Grandeur in an Open Living-Dining Space
Without a corridor separating the living and dining areas, this home embraces an open-plan layout where connection is key. The interior design merges the two zones through the use of champagne gold accents, light wood finishes, and fluid, organic lines—resulting in a look that is both understated and luxurious. From the entrance to the TV feature wall, rounded-edge storage cabinets, the TV unit, additional storage, and the guest room door are all clad in matching light wood, creating visual unity. In contrast, the wall behind the sofa features a striking sand-wave patterned mural, complemented by a curved gold-trimmed ceiling and a gold-accented pendant light—bringing a sense of grandeur and graceful movement to the heart of the home.

Simple and Sincere: A Calm Space with Botanical Touches
This guest room near the living area is reserved for the homeowner’s son, who is currently studying abroad. The design embraces a simple, grounded style that balances practicality with a quiet sense of warmth. A botanical-themed wall mural softens the space, bringing a gentle connection to nature. Gold mirror-finished trims on the cabinetry provide just a hint of refinement, lending subtle contrast and visual interest to an otherwise understated palette—creating a room that’s timeless and welcoming.
Reimagined Space: From Guest Room to Elegant Dressing Area
The original guest room featured two doors, making the layout somewhat fragmented. To streamline the space, the design team removed one of the doors and reconfigured part of the adjoining bathroom to create a standalone guest powder room—enhancing convenience for everyday use. The remaining area was transformed into a dedicated dressing room, complete with vanity and storage. This thoughtful redesign not only maximizes functionality, but also infuses everyday routines with a quiet sense of ceremony and style interior design.
A Spacious Retreat with Refined Harmony
As the largest ensuite in the residence, the master bedroom benefits from a separate walk-in closet, allowing the main area to remain spacious and light. With access to all three sides of the bed and room for a cozy relaxing corner, the layout is both practical and serene. The bedhead is framed with cushioned panels accented by gold stainless steel trims and a softly curved wood-clad feature wall—infusing the space with quiet elegance. Matching gold-accent pendant lights on either side, along with rounded bedside tables, enhance the room’s sense of refinement. Streamlined spotlights trace from the wardrobe to the window, creating layered illumination. The lighting can be adjusted freely to suit the homeowner’s mood, bringing flexibility and subtle emotion to the restful atmosphere.
