Situated in Tuen Mun’s Novo Land, this 418-square-foot apartment features a two-bedroom layout with an open kitchen and a view of the surrounding cityscape. Designed by inT Design, the home embraces a minimalist aesthetic, using clean lines and thoughtful material combinations to create a warm and functional atmosphere. Soft beige tones and light wood textures form the palette, while concealed storage and an open kitchen plan enhance both spatial efficiency and day-to-day convenience. The result is a compact yet inviting home that meets the modern urban dweller’s desire for comfort and style.
Refined Contrast of Wood and Stone in a Compact Home
The kitchen cabinetry features wood grain finishes that echo the rest of the built-in storage throughout the apartment, establishing a consistent design language. To align with the homeowner’s preference for a more refined and less “raw” aesthetic, the designer introduced lighter-toned stone textures and artistic wall décor to complement the natural wood tones. This thoughtful blend softens the overall look, lending the compact home a sense of elegance and composure. Curved Wood-Grain Ceiling Design Echoes the Earth-Sky Connection
The ceiling features a distinctive curved wood-grain lighting cove that subtly mirrors the floor's wooden tones, creating a cohesive visual link between ground and sky. The gentle curvature and natural wood texture soften the geometry of the space, while integrated lighting adds warmth and depth. This ceiling design brings rhythm and harmony to the interior, reinforcing a calm, organic atmosphere within a modern minimalist framework.
Elegant Study with a Touch of Nature
The study embraces a refined and minimalist aesthetic, anchored by a streamlined desk-and-shelf combination clad in wood-grain finishes that harmonize with the home's overall interior design. A botanical-themed wall mural adds a serene, organic accent, subtly contrasted by marble-patterned surfaces.
