Located directly above Yuen Long MTR Station, this 520-square-foot three-bedroom apartment in The YOHO Hub II embraces a light renovation approach to express a clean and timeless modern minimalist design. inT Design opted for low-saturation color tones and crisp lines to enhance a sense of brightness and openness throughout the space. The open kitchen seamlessly connects with the dining and living areas, offering an uncluttered, fluid layout that balances function and aesthetics effortlessly. Every element in the layout is thoughtfully arranged to maximize space efficiency and natural movement flow. This home embodies the essence of contemporary interior design, where simplicity meets practicality in a calming, refined atmosphere.

Unified Minimalism with Seamless Material Flow

The open kitchen is not only versatile and functional, but also visually refined with a modern minimalist aesthetic. Featuring a palette of neutral tones, wood textures, marble, and touches of black, the kitchen exudes a calm, natural elegance. The designer thoughtfully extended these elements throughout the living area — from cabinetry to wall finishes and lighting — ensuring a cohesive and harmonious design language across the entire home.

Flexible Functionality with an Open First Impression

The apartment comes equipped with a built-in sliding dining table, eliminating the need for a permanent dining area. This smart feature enhances spatial flexibility and opens up the entryway and living area visually. By preserving this original setup, the designer ensures that the first impression upon entering the home is one of spaciousness and ease — a seamless blend of form and function.

Playful Nature-Inspired Room with Smart Functional Design

The children's room blends creativity with function, featuring a vibrant animal-themed mural as a lively focal point. A loft bed structure makes efficient use of space, with a study desk placed by the window. One side of the desk includes open shelving, while the other incorporates a closed cabinet with magnetic doors for easy access. The staircase to the bed doubles as a display and storage unit, featuring striped textures and integrated lighting for added charm — a well-thought-out setup that grows with the child.

Connected Rooms for Zoned Functionality and Harmonious Aesthetic

By converting the adjacent bedroom into a connected space, the master bedroom now enjoys increased storage while clearly zoning areas for rest and organization. The design features light wood texture and marble textures, echoing the materials used in the living room.
