Situated in Yuen Long’s The YOHO Hub, this spacious 1,178-sq-ft four-bedroom, dual-ensuite residence embodies a stylish and personalized design approach. inT Design blends modern functionality with the owner’s unique tastes, resulting in a living environment that’s both practical and visually captivating. With a thoughtful mix of textures, materials, and distinctive lines, each room has its own personality while maintaining a cohesive flow—perfect for everyday comfort and effortless.
A Bold Design Concept That Showcases Personality Through Collectibles
With a focus on expressing individuality, the designer crafted a layout that celebrates the homeowner’s passion for collectibles and trend culture. A dedicated space to the left of the entryway was created to highlight the largest display pieces, while the dining area features custom shelving in various sizes—tailored to the dimensions of the figures provided by the client. This bold, personality-driven approach not only enhances the style of the home, but also turns cherished items into part of the everyday living experience, allowing guests to immediately sense the story and taste behind the interior design space.
Smart Storage and Display Integration
Next to the kitchen is a storage room, providing reliable space for household organization while giving the designer greater freedom to plan the living and dining room display areas. To highlight the homeowner’s passion for collectibles, a lengthened TV console was custom-built, offering essential storage as well as a surface for displaying ornaments. Paired with shelving units in the living room’s tall cabinets, this blend of display and functionality enriches the space with depth and personalized character.

Open Study Expands Visual Space
The front room is transformed into an open study, visually expanding the living room and enhancing openness. The designer skillfully utilizes the study window to bring in abundant natural light, brightening the entire interior design space. A circular cut-out in the study cabinetry creates an open communication zone, facilitating interaction between the homeowner and family members, thereby enhancing intimacy and flexibility in daily living.
Neutral Palette Highlights the Rich Collection
Upon entering the unit, a neutral palette sets a minimalist yet layered tone. Considering the homeowner’s richly colored collectibles, versatile white and grey form the base colors to avoid overshadowing the display pieces. To soften the coolness of the grey and white scheme, subtle touches of soft pink introduce warmth and gentleness. Frosted grey glass curtain shells are applied in the living and study rooms, with frosted grey glass also featured in the corridor, enhancing the modern design language and adding a sophisticated, fashionable edge to the space.
Clever Walk-in Closet Addresses Storage Needs
The middle room is designed as a walk-in closet, effectively enhancing the storage capacity of the unit. Primarily used by the female homeowner, the designer incorporated the classic houndstooth pattern on the wall behind the waist-high cabinetry, adding a fashionable layer of texture. Opposite the cabinetry is a display shelving unit dedicated to showcasing her cherished handbags, combining practicality with elegant presentation and turning the storage area into a refined visual interior design feature.
Thoughtful Design Highlights the Son’s Room
The smaller ensuite serves as the son’s room. Although he spends most of his time studying abroad, the designer thoughtfully incorporated design elements to personalize the space. LED lighting installed under the platform adds a modern and stylish touch, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for when he returns home. The overall design balances simplicity and practicality, offering a comfortable and functional retreat that feels like a true haven.
Soft Pink Palette Reflects Personal Style
The master bedroom design reflects the taste of the female homeowner, featuring a soft pink palette complemented by frosted grey glass and marble-textured walls. These elements echo one another, creating a cohesive and refined aesthetic that blends warmth with modern elegance interior design. The blush tones soften the architectural lines, while the muted glass adds a cool, contemporary contrast—resulting in a private sanctuary that feels both stylish and serene, with a personal touch at its core.
