Henley Park situated in the southern precinct of Kai Tak, right beside the Kai Tak Sports Park, this 649-square-foot three-bedroom ensuite residence captures both the dynamic pulse of the city and a quiet sense of everyday ease. Drawing inspiration from oceanic elements, inT Design features soft blue-grey tones and fluid contours, shaping a home that feels effortlessly refined. The interior layout is both flexible and efficient, with well-zoned living areas and a master suite complete with a practical workspace—maximizing space without compromising elegance.
A Touch of Blue – Light Luxury with a Personal Twist
To harmonize with the developer’s original built-in furniture, the design adopts a light-luxury foundation, subtly infused with the homeowner’s fondness for blue. The living room, being the more spacious area of the flat, features a built-in cabinet set within the open kitchen, finished in deep cool grey with sleek metallic trims—adding visual weight and texture. After thoughtful discussion, the designer and homeowner selected a series of Nordic-inspired blue wall art pieces to accent different corners of the living room, enhancing its character. At the entryway, a cloud-patterned mural in shades of blue and white creates a serene, elegant focal point, tying the overall interior design theme together from the moment one steps inside.

Wooden Passage and Tiffany Blue: Creating Cohesion in the Living Space
A wooden passage wall runs from the dining area to the TV zone, subtly defining the spaces while adding warmth and texture. Beside the dining table, a custom-built arched recessed cabinet features Tiffany blue fabric-textured finishes inside, on the TV backdrop, and on the concealed door. This gentle hue injects a fresh, calming vibe and visually unifies the entire space. These refined details enrich the living area with layered sophistication and cohesion.
Curved Cove Lighting and Metallic Accents Illuminate Elegance
The developer incorporated curved cove lighting into the ceiling, creating a soft and even illumination throughout. To address the presence of narrow beams in parts of the living and dining areas, the designer cleverly extended the existing light cove into the wooden passage wall, embellishing it with sleek metallic strips. This not only refines the detail but also elevates the overall sense of luxury, enriching the interplay of light and shadow within the space.
Tranquil Blues for a Growing Space
Behind the hidden door lies the son’s room, where the design seamlessly continues the home’s overall interior design theme. Nordic elements are prominent in the wall art and furniture, characterized by clean lines and simple forms that create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The use of ocean blue—a signature Nordic color—adds a fresh vibrancy that harmonizes naturally with the space, reinforcing the thematic cohesion without feeling out of place.
A Versatile Study Room with Elegant Functionality
This additional bedroom has been transformed into a multifunctional study with integrated storage, tailored to support everyday flexibility. A desk is positioned by the window to maximize natural light, while built-in cabinets extend from the wall to the recessed nook—ideal for storing books, seasonal clothing, or creating a shared workspace for parents and children. The overall aesthetic leans toward refined elegance, featuring gold accents and curved detailing. The lower sections of the furniture incorporate fluted wood textures, adding subtle depth and a touch of artisanal charm interior design to the room.

Positioned between the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, the built-in wardrobe doubles as a walk-in closet. While the original cabinetry features a rich dark walnut tone, the designer softened the visual weight by adding white fluted wood veneer panels on both sides. This thoughtful contrast brightens the space and enhances the visual clarity of the master suite, striking a harmonious balance between sophistication and functionality.
